Carrie Underwood is at home recovering from quite a fall that sent her to the hospital.

According to Carrie’s people, she fell outside her home Friday night. She did not have life-threatening injuries, but she did sustain a broken wrist, as well as some cuts and abrasions.  She was taken to the hospital to be treated. Her husband, Mike Fisher, made it back to Nashville overnight, and Carrie has since been released from the hospital.

Unfortunately, Carrie will be unable to perform at tonight’s Country Rising concert at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Carrie’s representatives said her “recovery will take some time and she appreciates all prayers and well wishes.”
