I absolutely love my dehydrator, it’s the best way to preserve food and make delicious snacks like Watermelon Jerky! This recipe is Gluten Free, Vegan, and Paleo.
This recipe is as easy as they come – you only need 1 ingredient and the dehydrator does all of the work! The best part is that these taste like Jolly Ranchers and Gummy Bears all in one!

Cut Watermelon and remove the flesh from rind.

Cut flesh into pieces as close to 1/4" thickness as you can. Remove seeds if possible.

Place on lined dehydrator trays and dehydrate at 135 degrees for 20-24 hours, or until the Watermelon Jerky is sufficiently dry. *

Once the Jerky is done cooking, remove from the dehydrator and store in an airtight container.

You want the Watermelon Jerky to be completely dry and breaks when you bend it. You don't want any moisture because it will spoil quickly and mold will begin to form.
