With all of Austin abuzz during South by Southwest, the capitol city’s music, film, and interactive festival (March 11-20), leave it to Willie Nelson to find a way to host a more intimate (and arguably cooler) party. The Luck Reunion festival is going down forty miles west of Austin, at Nelson’s private ranch Friday, March 18, from noon till whenever the music stops. And we can help you get tickets.
This exclusive musical event isn’t open to the public and tickets are only released in small batches through social media, featured bands, and event partners. But they’ve saved 200 tickets exclusively for G&G readers. Just use promo code GGLUCK16 to unlock the tickets.
With more than thirty artists ranging from country, rock, folk, and soul performing on three stages (one of which is a cozy, forty-seat church) there will be plenty of great music. In between shows you’ll get to explore the on-ranch town of “Luck, TX”, which was the set for Nelson’s 1986 film Red Headed Stranger. Plus, a slew of food trucks and artisanal vendors will be on site. Oh, and beverages (hand-crafted cocktails in the saloon anyone?) come with the price of admission. Enjoy the show.
