This recipe for Coca-Cola Glazed Ham is so easy to prepare and tastes amazing!
2 hrs 30 mins
Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Adjust the oven racks so the ham does not touch the upper heating elements.
Cut any excess skin and/or fat from the ham. Using a sharp knife, score the ham in a diamond pattern making 1/4" deep cuts.
Place the ham on it's side in the oven bag and set in a large roasting pan. Roll the sides of the bag down so that the bag is open wide and you can easily fit both hands around the ham with ease.
Combine Brown Sugar and Dijon Mustard in a small bowl. Stir until combined thoroughly.
Rub mixture all over the ham.
Next, place the cut orange wedges at the bottom of the bag surrounding the ham.
Pour the Coca-Cola around the ham. (Make sure you don't pour the Cola directly onto the ham, it will wash off the sugar mixture.)
Then, "puff up" the bag with air by blowing into the bag. You want the bag to not be making contact with the ham on the top or sides.
Using a small knife, make three small slits on the top of the bag for ventilation. (DO NOT skip this step. If you do, the bag will burst open, and the Ham will not self-baste)
Bake at 350ºF for 2- 2 1/2 hours until the ham is nicely browned and caramelized.
Once the ham is done cooking, remove from the oven and let sit in the bag for 30 minutes.
1 12 lb Cured Ham, bone-in (Do not use spiral sliced ham)
1/2 cup of Brown Sugar
1/3 cup of Dijon Mustard
1 large Orange, cut into six wedges
1 (12 oz) can Coca-Cola
